  Day 1

City Tour in Colombo.

Meet and assist on arrival at the Bandaranaike International airport and head off towards Colombo. The 31km drive from the airport to Colombo will take you through the city of Colombo.

Day 2

Discover the city of Trincomalee.

After breakfast set off to Trincomalee. Enroute to Trinco at Kanniyai visit one of the famous hot springs in Sri Lanka. As with most places of interest in and around Trincomalee these hot springs also have their legend, which goes back to pre-Vijayan times, when Ravana was Lord of Lanka.

Discover the port city, its culture, history, religious beliefs, its wonders and its charm. The journey begins at the 7th deepest natural harbor in the world. Explore the harbor mouth across the lagoon, settled amidst fourteen majestic mountains.

Thereafter visit the Koneswaram Temple dedicated to the Hindu God Shiva, the shrine built by a South Indian King was destroyed by the Portuguese in 1622. The temple of thousand columns was shoved over the cliff into the deep blue sea. Observe the magnificent view from Swami Rock and the famous Lovers Leap steeped in a romantic folktale.

Saunter through Fort Fredrick, a well preserved Portuguese gateway constructed with the remnants of the destroyed Koneswaram Temple. Constantine de Saa built the Fort in 1624 and it was successively held by the Dutch French until it was taken over by the British in 1795. The British named the Fort, FORT FREDRICK after the then Commander in Chief the Duke of York. Finally a visit to the Commonwealth War Heroes graves will complete the tour of the city by the sea.

Day 3

Nilaweli, Dolphin and Whale Watching.
After breakfast, proceed to Nilaweli

Nilaweli Beach 16 km north of the city respectively are among the best beaches in Sri Lanka. Knee deep shallow seas spreads out hundreds of meters towards the sea. An ideal place for sun bathing and snorkeling. While enjoying Nilaweli Beach, do not forget to pay a visit to Pigeon Island. The island is named after its endemic inhabitant the blue rock pigeon that crowd the island in hundreds. The island is also famous for the coral fringe that outlines it; visitors need to engage in a short boat ride to reach the island. Around the pigeon island more than hundred species of reef fish and corals have been identified, making Pigeon island a diver’s paradise.

After lunch, go for Dolphin and Whale watching boat ride in the sea. The journey at sea will begin from Foul Point and sail southwards for three hours. The location of the blue whales and humpbacks in the periphery will be discovered in close coordination with the Sri Lankan Navy. The best time to spot Blue Whales off the coast of Sri Lanka is between December and April. The largest living animal on earth, Blue Whales can grow up to 100 feet (30 meters) long and weigh almost 200 tons. They are among the earth’s longest-lived animals with an average lifespan of around 80 to 90 years. When breathing, Blue whales emit a spectacular single-column spout up to 12 meters into the air. They also typically raise their shoulders and blowholes much higher out of the water than other big whales when surfacing to breath. These two characteristics make Blue whale watching an incredible experience.

Day 4

Relax on a golden sandy beach!
After breakfast, set off to Pasekudah via Batticaloa.

Pasekudah beach although popular among locals and well known among locals isn't a place frequented by locals or foreigners. Which is a bit strange because it is one of the safest beaches for sea bathing in the east coast. Because of the lack of crowd, it is very clean and tidy all the time, making it an ideal place for a sea bath.

You can also enjoy water sports such as Wind Surfing and Kayaking. Snorkel or Dive to discover virgin coral reefs or even a shipwreck! Join in a game of Badminton or Volley Ball. Fly a Kite or take a walk along the shore whilst selecting the best seashells of each tide. Walk or cycle through the neighboring fishing villages and interact with the villagers to discover their culture and simple way of life.

Day 5

After breakfast proceed to Arugam Bay.

Arugam Bay beach is considered one of the top ten surfing destinations in the world and compared to most other famous beaches it is relatively less crowded as well. In Arugam Bay the most popular activity is surfing. Compared to most other beaches in Sri Lanka you can surf here almost throughout the year but April to October it is perfect for surfing. You can easily buy a surfing board here and if you are a novice in surfing but want to try it out for fun there are special places that teach you surfing. You won’t become a professional overnight but at least you can try out something adventurous.

Day 6

After breakfast depart to Airport via Colombo.
